The concept for this packaging was reflection. We don't only use tea for refreshment, but also use it as down time, a time to reflect and chill.
I wanted the pattern and logo to honour this by using white space, a simple typeface and cool refreshing colors, with a hint of tea color. The color scheme was a complementary one of cool blue and tea brown.
Surface Pattern was created originally by working with tissue, ink and PVA glue this was then taken into Photoshop. A Tartan tile pattern was created to partially reflect the company's Scottish roots but also communicate the art of gazing through windows ..
